My name is Makaylah Thompson I’m from San Diego,California. I'm currently a sophomore at Southern University and A&M College majoring in Therapeutic Rehabilitation. I have completed my first year as a college student at Southern with a 4.0 GPA both semesters.
Current Whereabouts:
I'm currently in a new chapter in my life in Baton Rouge, Louisiana pursing an education. I'm currently involved on campus in a club called Club 41 which is an student alumni organization. Also, I'm apart of the Southern University Los Angeles Chapter.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
The degree that I’m striving for at Southern University is a Bachelor's in Therapeutic Rehabilitation. I would then like to continue my education to earn a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine. My ultimate career goal is to become a head physician and assist clients with injuries and medical concerns related to basketball, baseball or football.

Most Memorable Moment:
With going into my second year of college, my most memorable experience so far was the 2016 Homecoming. Southern University has the best homecomings that I ever seen.

Best Memories:
My best high school memory was having the opportunity to host the first annual Black History Month program at an predominately white high school that did't allow the celebration of blacks.
