I have lost a great deal in my life. Namely the death of my mother took a toll on me early on in life. I decided that I would not sulk in sorrow but work hard to achieve success. All I know is hard work and I have dedicated my life to helping youth understand how great they can be if they try. Their destiny is in their hands. I truly believe that I can do anything because I have great determination.
Current Whereabouts:
I love studying the political situations in the various places that I have visited. I am also interested in the ways in which members of the African diaspora can help themselves or unable to better their condition. My goal is to give them a voice.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I plan on having two books published by my 30th birthday. I want to pursue a career in journalism that allows me to travel to tell the story of people who are often ignored or deemed as less important.

Claim To Fame:
Giving advice to younger Spelmanites and working hard to maintain a high GPA.
Most Memorable Moment:
Interviewing celebrities and going to Cuba to write for the Maroon Tiger, the newspaper at Morehouse.

Activities & Accomplishments:
I loved spending my Spring Break on Habitat for Humanity trips. I also received an award for doing an outstanding amount of community service.
Best Memories:
I was the leader of one of my boarding school's spirit teams and I got to lead a lot of traditions.
