About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
- Health and fitness - Reading and studying my Bible - Spending time with my two younger sisters - Making lists (I would consider myself an expert and list-making actually)
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Ultimately, my goal is to become an attorney. From my experience as an administrative assistant at a law firm, I learned just how much lawyers are able to help people. What a cliche response, I know, but honestly. I have gone to school with both the spoiled rich kids and the kids whose parents barely had enough to buy them school clothes and supplies. I have studied alongside the children who quite literally live without a care in the world and others who seem to have the weight of the world on their shoulders. That gap is too large. It is simply unacceptable. I want to be able to advocate for the people who carry the weight of their worlds on their shoulders, the people who don't have the access, connections, and opportunities luckily afforded to others. I want to be a person who other people want in their corner, supporting them and cheering them on. As put in one of my favorite television, shows, Scandal, I want to be a champion for the underprivileged, a "gladiator." I hope that this is something a career in law could help me become.

Best Memories:
I swear this stuff just happens on movies, but I really did have that insane peak of your high school career moment. During my senior year, I was on the varsity pompon team. Two friends and I thought it would be fun to join an extracurricular together. It was our last home basketball game of the season. We were down by two in overtime. Just as there was an opposing basketball team to ours, there was an opposing pom team at the other end of the court. As fans were on the end of their seats, the opposing pom team seemed to be shouting over to us. Suddenly one of the girls from the other teams runs out from her position and does a cartwheel into a split (a simple skill, but neither of the teams had done any gymnastics skills up to this point). My team wasn't trained in gymnastics specifically... but I was. In retaliation, my teammates did a little booty-shaking and some did headstands. However, the other team continued whipping out round-offs and back-bends. As I mentioned before, I actually was trained in gymnastics. I was a competitive gymnast and then a cheerleader for six years prior. I hesitated before joining in on the cheer-off. I wasn't sure about my skills, whether or not I would be able to execute them correctly or without embarrassing myself. I even asked my coach for the go-ahead before I tried. At this point, it was the final timeout before the end of the game and the other team had just finished a series of triple cartwheels and back-bends into the splits. My friends, who knew about my past and training, were egging me on yelling at me to do something. I swear, the adrenaline was pumping and my heart was beating so hard and fast. Before I had another minute to talk myself out of it, I ran out did a round-off back-handspring, back-handspring, back-handspring, back-handspring into the middle of the court. At the end of my series, I had gotten so much air that my right shoe flew off and into the stands. Oh my gosh, the crowd went absolutely wild. I was a product of the High School Musical era on Disney Channel, and in this moment, I really felt like I was Troy Bolton as he led the Wildcats to victory. So I won the cheer-off for my team. As I said though, the actual basketball game wasn't over. The crowd was roaring and the energy on the court and in the stands was electric. And just like in the movies, suddenly one of our players shot a shot that sailed right through the basket, from the three-point line. Our fans rushed the court and guess who they rushed to? ME! I know this story seems a little superficial and has nothing to do with an academic achievement, but as a timid, insecure girl who entered high school absolutely terrified, I've gotta say this was pretty cool for me. It was definitely my most high school moment.
