About   (request update)
I currently suffer from schizophrenia, depression, diabetes, insomnia, and anxiety. These illnesses were diagnosed in the year 2015. I have many challenges every day: hearing voices, scared, and not being able to sleep at night. My career goal is to become a registered nurse in Chesapeake, Virginia. I have a gift of putting others well-being before my very own interests and desires. I have the diligence and caring nature to become the best registered nurse heroine that I can be. Nurses have a very high standard of ethics, and I can appreciate this highly structured field. So, what does a nurse do? They run and analyze diagnostic tests, dress wounds and incisions, review and determine treatment plans, help doctors during surgery, guide patients in healthy habits, and provide emotional support to patients and families. I chose the nursing field because there is currently a national shortage of nurses. This fact has impacted my career goals. I was very astonished to discover that there is a shortage of nurses. The nursing industry is very competitive. Nurses work in a variety of different settings. They may be employed in hospitals, nursing homes, private homes, schools, and business offices. There are many types of nurses: registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, clinical nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, nurse case manager, intensive care unit registered nurse, travel registered nurse, home care registered nurse, operating room nurse, staff nurse, emergency room registered nurse, labor and delivery registered nurse, medical/surgical registered nurse, nurse supervisor, oncology registered nurse, critical care registered nurse, neonatal intensive care registered nurse, dialysis registered nurse, and post-anesthesia care unit registered nurse.
