Best Memories:

In my community, there are a lot of families who do not eat healthy options because of the lack of time and they are unable to find fresh produce around the area. It is easier for a parent to stop at a fast food restaurant to grab something to eat instead of having a healthy snack such as berries. For my project, I built a greenhouse at my school to help bring fresh and local produce to my community. With the help of students in my gardening club, we planted fruits and vegetables in our school's backyard. This helped introduce eating healthier options to my community for students and their parents.
