About   (request update)
As a professional, bring a diverse background of engineering skills and experience to the table. With a
bachelor’s in Nuclear Engineering and completed coursework towards a Masters of Engineering in
Mechanical Engineering, I consider myself a Nuclear Engineer by profession with an extensive mechanical aptitude from working in the mechanical systems branch of the nuclear engineering department. This cross-functional training has been invaluable as I continue honing and developing my skills and demonstrate an understanding of basic engineering principles.

I always knew I’d become an engineer – even as a kid. I was always taking things apart and putting them back together again; trying to understand how things worked. That curiosity grew from taking apart small electronics to working on cars and motorcycles with my father, a hobby I enjoy today.
One thing that differentiates me from my colleagues is my ability to translate and break down complex
information into a simplified, easy-to-understand language. It’s critical that these instructions are clear and easy for end users to comprehend and follow, especially in a nuclear reactor environment. I want to be known as the approachable engineer and Subject Matter Expert that others willingly go to for advice.

I initially pursued Nuclear Engineering because of the challenge; and I can see the future of engineering will continue presenting challenges as the field advances. There are processes that are currently in place that have been done the same way for so long. There are new minds coming into the profession that think differently. They’re introducing new concepts and incorporating technology and new processes and I’m excited to see where these innovations will lead us.
