Before anything else, I am a man of God and live by his ways faithfully. I am active within my church by working in the film and technology department, and producing and acting in plays. I’ve participated in numerous community service events, including: community car washes, bake sales, cleaning up and maintaining the bathrooms at school, making and serving food for church events, and picking up trash around town. Football, tennis and clubs take up the majority of my time. I practice everyday after school and independently on the weekends to get better. When I'm not practicing, I’m meeting with a club, planning and working towards a greater future. These extracurricular activities have taught me valuable lessons, mainly learning how to work hard without complaining. Once during football practice , Coach had run the stadium, immediately followed by a 400 run after. Everyone complained,we got less done and suffered. The next day we had to bear crawl. Nobody complained, and we finished efficiently. I learned complaining does not do anything but waste time and make me perform at a lower level. I’ve applied this lesson to all aspects of my life. Tennis has taught me the importance of paying attention to detail. My coach told me that when I serve, my feet should be pointed a certain way. I didn't think much of it, but when I adjusted my stance as she insisted, my serve became amazing. I have grown to understand from these experiences that im a piece of something much bigger than myself.


Also, I love recording, editing, and creating videos.The feeling of seeing the final result in unmatched.There is not a better feeling on earth than realizing the work and hours you put in a video, seeing the final result , showing it to people and watching them enjoy your content. It is truly amazing to me. I put the link to one of my videos above. In addition, I love to read. The complex plots and storylines intrigue me. Reading has also helped me expand my vocabulary. Sports are a major part of my life, and in this instance, football. I played Football my junior and senior (I have a hudl link above also). I love playing the game of football, but I love the complexity behind it even more. The schemes and plays to counter other schemes and plays is absolutely astounding to me.The hours that go in, the practices, the workouts, I love every aspect of it. In conclusion, I have numerous interests, and I hope to spend time doing them at an HBCU

Football season when we played Spaulding and blew them out, the locker room after was unforgettable
