Johnson C. Smith University class of 2022
Undergrad Major: Social Work
Claim To Fame:
Being apart of the modeling troupe in college. As well as, serving on the fsu royal court as Miss Senior 2016-2017
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment was I took a speech course in school and I had to present in front of my professor and the whole class about my topic. I had a huge problem with public speaking before being Miss Senior. Taking a speech class helped me get out of my comfort and made more confident to give presentations to a crowd of people. Another memorable moment was studying abroad in China and representing for my hbcu!
High School: West Charlotte Senior High School in Charlotte, NC class of 2013

Activities & Accomplishments:
West Charlotte Cheerleader, Charlotte housing scholarships recipient and Michael Jordan/ bobcats 5k scholarship
Best Memories:
My best high school memory was meeting Michael Jordan and CMS superintendent at my high school. I was given a scholarship at 18 years old during my senior year of high school to attend any school of my choice. The scholarship was awarded for 5000. I had no idea I was getting the scholarship that day. The news were there, including my mom. I was awarded the scholarship through being apart of the Y achievers program. The staff knew how badly I wanted to go to college especially an HBCU. I was a first generation college student and I knew that I wanted the best for my family. A college degree to an HBCU was my key to success. However, the scholarship gave me hope at a young age that God will really show out and open doors for me if I do right by him and remain focus on my goals.
Experience
I currently work with Autism Learning Partners as Behavior Technican
I have 4 years of experience working in the Human Resources industry.
