Location: Snellville, GA United States

About   (request update)
I was born on the west coast (Washington), but I am native to the Atlanta area. Growing up, band and helping others were my thing. You could catch me doing either or both at any given time. Since then, I have evolved and identified that my gifts are in the form of advocacy and administration. I have a heart for my people, our institutions, and our advancement. I'm focused on my career development and legacy at this point in my life.
Current Whereabouts:
Community service; music; advancing the black experience as a whole; abolishing social, political, and economic injustice; natural health and wellness; non-profit organization & grant writing; traveling; building wealth; and sleep! lol
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Professionally, I am most drawn to the field of public service. However, I am unconventional, innovative, and quite possibly the millennial boomers love to hate! lol So, when it comes to politics and government I waiver. I am currently obtaining my MPA and would like to attend law school after that. I am a strong advocate of our HBCUs but I am very fearful of their longevity. I aspire to serve in higher education administration at one of our nation's Historically Black Colleges. Vigilantly, I want to reform old ways and customs, while enhancing revenue, capitol, and sustainability; all the while embodying the traditions and legacy of which these institutions have derived. The "scapegoat" of racism and systemic oppression is policy. I aspire to use my MPA to aid in dismantling policy that has disenfranchised and directly affected the equity of black and brown people. I also plan to organize various non-profits to aid and develop my community.
