About   (request update)
I believe what makes me different from others is that I am willing to go the extra mile in completing assignments and tasks. I am a diligent and hard worker because that was the way I was raised. In my lifetime I have seen and been exposed to things that make me the person I am today. Also, being raised by a single mother and my grandmother has taught me the importance of life and education. They are one of the reasons why I push my self to be the best student academically and socially. I have kept my promise to not let my environment dictate my opportunities because I could have took a different route but I decided to help ease my mother’s worry. All of my dreams and accomplishments are dedicated to my family and I want to be able to repay my mother for everything she has done for me.
Current Whereabouts:
Since it is COVID-19 I am mainly in my dorm 24/7 because I have online classes so I am always trying to stay ahead on my work. In my spare time I like to read nonfiction and fiction books by James Patterson. I stay connected with many of the organizations I am apart of by zoom calls since we cannot meet like normal. The quarantine campus life has totally been a big change for me.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
After completing my undergraduate degree I plan to working the medical field. Also, I would like to further my education and become a Certified Nurse Anesthetists and would in the area of surgery/critical care units. Moreover, I would like to receive my certification as a DNP a Doctor of Nursing Practice which will allow me to help other nurses and supervise them. In the future I would like to open a non-profit organization for kids in the community so they can have a place to come after school or even during the summer to do their work without their parents having the hassle of trying to find someone to keep them or letting them stay at home alone which leads to other things. I know it can be tough on parents so this program is free of charge because I wouldn’t want money to be the issue or hardship on them. I would like to mentor kids and give them ideas and help them figure out their true goal in life. I want them to know that they can make no matter their situation or circumstance.
