The name Jordan is actually biblical, referencing the Jordan river where Jesus was baptized. Also, my middle name, Matthew, is biblical as well since he was one of the 12 disciples. It actually turns out that I was named after Micheal Jordan because of my dad and how he was a big fan of him growing up. More importantly, what makes me special is that I actually favor mathematics and the sciences when I am learning in school. Ever since the 3rd grade, I have always been a little bit of a math geek myself, and I also love learning about physics since it kind of incorporates both subjects. I also enjoy playing sports, mostly baseball and football. Additionally, I also have a great memory as one of my perks, so I am able to retain information somewhat relatively quickly. I also enjoy learning and trying new things, so my levels of curiosity are very high as well. I also put in 100% effort into everything that I do, regardless of what challenges I might face on the way. Sometimes, my persistence really gets the best of me but it is just who I am. I am not the one who just throws in the towel and gives up.
Current Whereabouts:
I enjoy watching Netflix and spending time with my family. I also enjoy listening to R&B and Hip-Pop, most notably artists like Brent Faiyaz. Chance the Rapper, Juice WRLD, and many more.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I aspire to be an engineer one day in either the mechanical, nuclear, or chemical industry. I also have a dream of working at NASA to help with the launching and construction of rockets, machines, or any other piece of technology/hardware.

Claim To Fame:
For me, I don't necessarily see college as an opportunity for fame. I view college as an opportunity to network, learn, and to grow and be the best person that I can be. Also, I would like to think of it as a way to positively impact others around me who I meet during my matriculation. If I just so happen to become famous during that process somehow, then that will just have to be the case.
Most Memorable Moment:
Throughout college, I got the opportunity to meet with a bunch of new people, and got the opportunity to make so many new friends. It was a really memorable moment for me, especially living in the world that we are currently living in today. Also, being able to learn a lot of new things in school, specifically in my engineering, physics, and math classes.

Activities & Accomplishments:
I got inducted into the National Honor Society during my junior year of high school, and I actively got involved in the Leaders For Tomorrow program sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc outside
Best Memories:
A few of my best high school memories include getting inducted into the National Honor Society. I also got the chance to go see Hamilton in theaters with my AP Comparative Government and Politics class. In addition to those, I also really enjoyed going to homecomings, and prom as well.
