I am and shall always be a giver of my time, talent, and treasures!
Current Whereabouts:
Serve as Vice-Chair of the Southern University at New Orleans Foundation, Inc. I am also Chair of the Foundation's Knights Scholarship Program. I am Retired Educator and Co-author of the book, "Inspired to Climb Higher: The Challenges, Questions, Struggles and Joy of Earning Your Doctoral Degree." (Rowman and Littlefield, 2024 and Bloomsbury Publishers, 2025). Serve as a member of the Association of Black Women in Higher Education, Kansas City, Missouri Chapter. Engage in thought provoking lectures and participant engagement in educational issues such as Early Childhood Wellness and Behavioral Issues, Effective Plans of Action for Increasing Student Recruitment, Retention, and Graduation Rates on College Campuses. I am actively consulting with Doctoral students at various segment of the Dissertation journey with large, small, and individual work sessions, and IRB and Dissertation Defense Preparation.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I aspire to continue Mentoring and Motivating young people on their academic, professional and personal journey.

Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable College moments were: Pledging Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., serving as Pan-Hellenic Council President, and being selected for Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges.

I was one of a few African American students selected to participate in the Independent Study Program all four years of high school. Being selected for the honor of Who's Who in American High Schools and Colleges was a highlight of my high school career.
