Albany State University class of 2009
Undergrad Major: English Literature
Claim To Fame:
As of right now, I am working hard to complete my first novel as well as a book of poetry. I plan to obtain a dual degree in English and Education with minors in English literature and professional writing. I plan to later obtain a degree in Music Education also from the "Unsinkable" Albany State University. As far as a professional career is concerned, I aspire to become a publisher for children's and young adult's books, a writer of self-help/motivational/Christian books for young women, a college African American Studies professor, and if God continues to bless me as He is now, I would love to publish a monthly magazine for young black women (sort of like JET meets Essence).

Dr. and Mr. Hankerson's classes were exceptional. I guess the one person I would have to say I'll never forget is Dr. Cherry. I was in her World Literature I and Literary Forms classes. Dr.Cherry challenged me to think outside of the box and question EVERYTHING! I have learned so much from her. I will definitely NEVER forget her.
