Danielle Charisse Williams is a Detroit native. She is a product of Detroit Public Schools, receiving her high school diploma from Renaissance High School as class valedictorian. She graduated summa cum laude from Hampton University in 2006, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Danielle is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Administration degree, with a concentration on Health Services Administration, at Central Michigan University.
Danielle began her career at Deloitte Consulting LLP, where she lent her technical expertise to many software implementation projects in the automotive industry. In 2009, she fulfilled her dream of working in the healthcare arena by accepting a position with Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation. Danielle currently serves as a Revenue Integrity Analyst, where she is responsible for interpreting and summarizing regulatory transmittals published by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The summary memos provide recommendations to Trinity Health Home Office and hospitals, to ensure their compliance with national health policies. In addition, she was Co-Lead of Trinity-Health's African American Business Resource Group, which supports the recruitment, retention, and development of African-American employees. Danielle maintains professional memberships in Healthcare Financial Management Association, Black Data Processing Associates, and National Association of Health Service Executives.
Active in her Detroit community, Danielle serves in her church, Fellowship Chapel, as Youth Usher Board Advisor, Vice-President of the Urban Contemporary Choir, and member of the Youth Coordinating Council. Annually, Danielle coordinates and hosts a city-wide Youth Lock-In at Fellowship Chapel, to educate and empower hundreds of middle school, high school, and college students. Danielle is a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was initiated into the Gamma Theta Chapter (Hampton University) in 2004, and currently serves as secretary for the Eta Iota Omega Chapter (Inkster, MI). Danielle continues to support her beloved HBCU through her participation in the Hampton Alumni Association, Detroit Chapter.
