Greetings,

My name is Jace Austin. I am a 26-year-old native of New Orleans, Louisiana, full-time law student at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, class representative of the LOYNO JD class of 2023, part-time realtor, and a Howard University honors graduate. Today, I am seeking to introduce my accomplishments, in hopes that I will be considered for a feature in the HBCU Connect Magazine. I graduated from Howard University in 2017, and I have positioned every aspect of my professional life to create change for black people. In 2023, I will become a licensed attorney and hopefully begin to help the vulnerable and crime ridden community of my hometown, New Orleans, LA. I have also been a recreational writer for over eight years, and it is my dream to emerge as one of the newest prolific creators of horror and fantasy--and do so as a proud black woman. Three months ago, I published “The Kingdom on the Bayou,” and it is my most confident belief that this tale can dominate the literary and multimedia industry for decades to come. I am also a licensed realtor in the state of Louisiana, and building my financial and property portfolio is one of the most important goals of my personhood. I would love to be featured in this magazine, and join all the other elite HBCU graduates.
