I'm a semi-retired psychiatric social worker living in a rural area of Lexington County. Years ago I had some magazine articles published and want to resume that hobby with a focus on telling the stories of people who have been resilient and resistant in the face of oppression. I hope it's okay for me to join you here!
Current Whereabouts:
I strive to be a white ally. I'm preparing to write travel articles about sites of historical significance to African-Americans, Native-Americans and other groups that have been left out of the dominant historical narrative. I also have interest and experience with living history.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Even at 66-years-old, I aspire to make a small difference in our fractious world!
