About   (request update)
Getting to live the “black girl magic” dream is one of my many personal, educational, and professional goals. The “black girl magic” dream is a simple yet powerful dream that black girls like me have wished our luckiest stars to achieve. Women who have reached this dream have gained a level of respect that our ancestors who came before us would look down proud at what they see. When you have given back to your community and are doing great for yourself you have rewardingly earned the lifestyle of the “black girl magic dream”.
I am a junior computer science major at Howard University. I have seen many women in my day live out the “black girl magic” dream, and when I was young I promised myself I would strive to achieve it. Step one, secure your high school diploma. Step 2, go to college to
Current Whereabouts:
Currently I am into app design and looking for an internship that deals with UI/UX.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I aspire to obtain a stable job in tech, hopefully in either cybersecurity or app design. I also would like to settle down in Atlanta to be close with my friends and family. I would like to be more active in the community and when I have a steady job I would like to open up a coding learning center for inner city students!
Education   (request update)
Howard University class of 2024
Undergrad Major: Computer and Information Science
Claim To Fame:
My "Claim to Fame" moment in college is when I got the opportunity to work at the NASA Glenn Research Center. I was a rising junior and was responsible along with two other students to rewrite code from MATlab to python for the S-band ground station. As a young black girl in STEM, I was ecstatic that I was awarded this opportunity and made sure I brought my A-game for the internship.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moments was when I attended my first howard homecoming after being online for the longest due to covid. Looking around seeing pure black joy brought me happiness and made me feel like home!
