I was born in Talladega, Alabama raised in the south with the usual. My mom raised me with the help of my great grandparents. I grew up watching the Cosby Show and The Different World, and from what I can remember, I would stay up all night giggling watching either show. I also stayed dancing or cheering my entire life; ballet, cheer competitions, and dance competitions. I spent most of my high school years at Childersburg High School but later moved on my senior year at James Clemens High School.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently into advocating mental health. I created a page (sty_lve) on instagram where I will soon post my website information of my blogs and podcast. My brand stands for 'stay alive.' I created this movement in hopes to save many students in school, specifically targeting the black community. I will have black stories and scenarios with steps to get through it for the possible suicidal students.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My dreams has always been to make a difference, I didn't know what at the time but I knew I wanted to become a leader and example for this country. My professional aspirations were always to become a Lawyer but recently I gained interest in Psychology. Even though I still have interest into Law school I realized something had to be changed within the Psychological study of black minds. As I got older I noticed that century old trauma my people face today from enslavement, desegregation, and oppression. There is a stigma of the black minds that has been created and I want to research more about this to become a clinical psychologist and therapist to reduce those mental issues.
