I am Daquavious LeeShawn Powell. I was born on March 26, 2005, in Eastman, GA. I
have only one sibling by my mother, but I have several siblings by my father. My mother’s name
is Mashunda N. Bell, she is from McRae-Helena and my father’s name is Blonnie L. Powell, he
is from McRae-Helena.

I have always attended Telfair County school systems from elementary until now. I had a
wonder childhood living with my mother, grandmother, and brother. On Sundays, we go to
church and the rest of the day is spent with family doing family events. My family has always
been close; we help each other on a daily basis. My family is a happy and loving family.

During my high school days, I usually spend my free time play sports, playing the video
game, helping people in my community, and/or spending time with family and friends. Our
school is very supportive of our continuing education because of that I have chosen to go into
education myself to give back to my community. I have always had a passion for football and
would love to coach it as part of my educational training.

I would consider myself a big dreamer and overachiever. I have always set my goals high
never to underestimate my full potential of something I felt and/or knew that I could do. I have
accomplished the level of education and sports skills in which my parents and other family
members never would have dreamed of. One of my weaknesses is I am not a person who likes a
lot of attention, although I do play sports and I am very efficient at it. I don’t have to be the star
of the game. I am a shy person because I don’t really like crowds and public speaking.

Some of my strengths are I am an athlete, I can play any sport that I apply myself to do.
Not only that but I have academic achievements as well. I am also an honor roll student in the

Beta Club. I am somewhat a competitive young man, which set out to break records in my school
district and achieved them. I would characterize myself as a smart, friendly, athletic and
successful young man on a mission. The mission, I have is to do something different within my
family. I have always thought of the sky being the limit to any success. Things I’ve dreamed of
and strived for I’ve always worked extra hard to accomplish them.

My mother and grandmother are my biggest inspiration. They have always made sure that
I had what I needed and wanted. I would like to thank my mother for pushing me to do better on
my academics because what was acceptable to me, she didn’t approve of. My grandmother has
always been my biggest supporter. The best event in my life is, when my mother signed me up
for little league football; I have loved this sport since I was 3.
