Hair. Doing hair is something I want to perfect and be very skilled at.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
As a young black woman I don't want to be typical. I feel like everyone thinks every young black woman gets out of school and they want to be a nurse. That is too typical for me and truthfully is not what I want to do. When signing up for college my first decision was to major in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The program is very hard to get into and I started to question myself asking if that was really what I wanted to do. Cosmetology was my second option but now I am thinking Criminal Justice. All in all, I just want to be happy with whatever I choose.
