"I am currently deeply interested in pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship Studies. My passion for business, combined with my determination and strong work ethic, drives me to excel in this field. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to the business world as a Black woman and making a meaningful impact. Moreover, I am drawn to entrepreneurship studies as it aligns with my desire to create and innovate. I believe that the combination of a Business Administration degree and specialized entrepreneurship knowledge will equip me with the skills needed to not only succeed but thrive in a dynamic business landscape. Beyond academics, my love for music, art, sciences, and public speaking showcases my well-rounded nature and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. I am eager to harness these interests and skills to enhance my communication abilities, a crucial aspect of any successful entrepreneur. As an aspiring Black woman majoring in Business Administration, I am committed to striving for a six-figure to seven-figure income, not only for my personal growth but also to serve as an example of excellence for my community. I am particularly interested in applying to historical Black colleges and universities in the United States, as I believe these institutions will provide me with a supportive and empowering environment that aligns with my values and aspirations. Life & Professional Aspirations:
Throughout my life, I have embraced various roles and industries, fueled by a relentless drive to provide for my family and make a positive impact on my community. From customer service to nursing, bookkeeping to hospitality, and psychology to social work studies, I have accumulated a wealth of experiences that have shaped my passion for entrepreneurship and empowering others. My journey has taken me through institutions like Everest Institute, Western Michigan University, University of Phoenix, and Olivet College, where I delved into psychology, social work, and criminal justice while contributing to gospel organizations and community service projects. Volunteering on panels for Child Abuse and Neglect, working with elderly individuals, and engaging in various roles have deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of our society. As a single mother for 14 years and now a determined homemaker, I have cultivated a spirit of resilience, adaptability, and an unyielding pursuit of success. My desire to start my own business stems from wearing many hats and being a multi-potentialite. I envision creating a business that not only thrives but also uplifts my own race and culture. Through my accomplishments, I aspire to be a role model for my children, instilling in them the value of perseverance, ambition, and unwavering commitment to their goals. Choosing a historical Black college aligns with my goal of connecting with an institution that appreciates my unique journey, cultural background, and aspirations.
