I am currently a full time accounting student at North Carolina A&T State University and has landed an internship with Eaton to work in their finance and accounting program for summer 2024. At 15, I started my own hand crafted bracelet business called Spiffy Creations. Now I sell crocheted items and I also donate my creations to local shelters and Goodwills. Target was my first job and it has never left my side. After only 9 months of employment, At 18 years old I became team lead for the fulfillment department. Team lead is another word for manager and as team lead I facilitate my team making sure all collected orders is accurate and received on time. I had to step down from being team lead due to me going away for school.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently into crocheting and playing the piano in my free time. I am a full time student and I think it is best to find hobbies that is outside the school's realm. I started crocheting only a few months ago but has become my favorite hobby to do. Crocheting is very satisfying and I love sharing my creations to others. I crochet hats, sweaters, and other items as well. Unlike crocheting, I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old. The piano has always been in my life and it helps me to let go a lot of stress in my life.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My professional aspiration is to become a partner at one of the big four top firms. There are only 2% of CPA partners who identify as an African American in the accounting world. I plan to change that and help boost those numbers up to where it will soon be 5% then 10% and so on. My life aspiration is to give my family the world and take care of them to where they don't have to work or stress anymore. They have put countless of time into me and I am going to show my gratitude by working hard so I can reciprocate the sacrifice for them. I am grinding for my parents and they are the reason I stride to keep going in life and in my academic career.

Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in College would be joining a nonprofit org called SpreadDaLuv and becoming the organization's Treasurer Chair. As Treasurer, I handle our financial transactions and bookkeepings while also finding ways for us to fundraise. I am constantly doing ground work to help spread awareness about mental health to A&T's students and to Greensboro's local community. It has made me grow a love for helping people find resources so they can become their best self. I am also a member of NC A&T's ALOBEAEM Accounting Society and Greensboro's local National Association of Black Accountants.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment would be experience A&T’s homecoming for the first time and truly understanding why our homecoming is the Greatest Homecoming On Earth. The culture and family can not be duplicated. GHOE has made me appreciate my decision on coming to an HBCU because I don't think I would have the same opportunities or experiences if I would have went to somewhere else.
