For the summers of 2023 and 2024, I have been blessed to be invited to be a part of an amazing traveling band, theatre, and chorus collective. The program is called American Music Abroad. The group is a collection of high school band, chorus, and theatrical performers from all over the southeast corner of the US. Both summers entail a performance trip to Europe with 9 shows across as many towns through 6 countries. The 2023 performance tour went through Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and the Czech Republic. 2024 will take the group through new countries in Europe. These tours provide an opportunity to learn about trust, work ethic, friendship, music performance, persistence, cultures outside of my own and beauty beyond the wonders within the US.
