I dream of being a pediatric neurosurgeon. I will graduate from Howard University with my bachelor’s degree majoring in biology. I am expanding my knowledge in sciences and studying human behavior. One of my many academic achievements is being a high school graduate with a CNA and EKG technician certification with a 4.03 GPA. I worked at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in the neurology/neurosciences department. I have led in sports and classroom projects. I volunteered at a hospital and Elementary schools. I am driven, organized, ready to learn more, and I make sure unfinished tasks are always completed correctly.

Most Memorable Moment:
So far, my memorable college moment was freshman week and homecoming. I got to meet so many different people from different backgrounds who were all here for different reasons. It made me want to open up even more. Homecoming helped me realized I really wanted to be at Howard University. I could just feel the many great opportunities coming my way.

 During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to Work at John Hopkins All children's hospital on a summer job internship program. Fortunately, I got to work on the neurosurgical/ neuroscience department. I got to assist EEG technicians, scrubbed in on two operations, got to see the NICU, and much more. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had, period. It was a confirmation to me. That I do want to be a neurosurgeon for Pediatrics. I want to be able to help kids have a second chance at life no matter what disability or illness they might have. I want to study the development, the human behavior, effects of trauma, I want to study more than just the brain. I also want to help kids with mental health issues and open clinics on islands.
