I have been published in multiple magazines and been regionally and nationally recognized for my writing. Last summer, I went to Carnegie Hall as one of the Scholastics Art and Writing Awards Gold Portfolio Recipient, which is one of the highest creative honors in the US.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moments include... - Joining skate club, being around a community full of black skaters for the first time, and meeting friends that I still consider close to this day. - Attending jam sessions at Sankofa and Aurora Market with Artivism (activism/creative collective based on campus) members and freestyling with black creatives within my community. - Meeting Angela Davis at Busboys and Poets.
