As I reflect on my last five semesters at Morehouse College, the scale of racial and social injustice in our pluralistic society has increased and continues to paralyze marginalized groups. Therefore, as a Morehouse servant leader, I must continue to be rooted and steadfast in my commitment to serving others in order to provide solutions to our societal problems of racial and social injustice. Even if it means choosing a difficult path instead of an easy one as God has planted me like a strong and graceful oak for his glory. Understanding that "the self cannot be self without other selves".

The Lowery Institute Change Agent Program is a national, yearlong social justice opportunity for students currently enrolled full-time in an accredited, higher education, academic institution to develop and exhibit academic and leadership skills in the pursuit of advancing social justice causes and examining issues that disproportionately affect people of color across the United States.
