I started working last year at the Ohio State Fair, I was a ticket taker. Although it was a good first job I learned customer service skills, handling weather situations, and communication skills. I had to work with all different types of races and people that needed a little more help than others, it was a good experience. My second job was being a student-worker at Central State University. What I gained from this job was being in a welcoming environment, support from co-workers, learning how to work a printer, directing calls, also helping other students find what they need.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame was entering the modeling world at Central State University. As a freshman, I wanted to join an organization that aligns with something I always loved seeing. I saw New Age modeling and instantly fell in love, I knew I wanted to become president of the organization one day. I want to show people my love for this organization so they also have a passion for it. I am now entering my third year in New Age as the secretary and as my journey continues I will become president next year.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable college moment was going to Central State's Alumni Day, I had the pleasure of hearing three of the most amazing speakers. While they told their life stories, it just made me wonder why they stayed at Central State University. When one of the speakers was done I asked my question and they simply said, "Where would I have went." I don't know why this stuck with me but it did. I learned at that moment why I wanted to stay at Central, that day changed my viewpoint on my school, and I'm so thankful I got the chance to be a part of Alumni Day. If it weren't for those three I don't think I would have created my own organization on campus. I say this because one of the speakers said "If I did want to stay at central I wanted to look back and know I left something behind that the future can look upon." This motivated me to want to succeed even further than what I was doing. It worked too.

I would greet customers and then see if they need help finding their ticket online, if so I would help them find it to scan. I can also take their paper ticket and rip it up, then put the ripped ticket in a special bin.
