About   (request update)
My biomedical background in HIV treatment and prevention research, recent clinical experience, community engagement, and my lived experiences guides me to believe an equitable and holistic 360 approach to health care and research. Communities often have trouble trusting science and the medical field; however, my long-term goal is to help reduce health disparities and increasing trust in health care research in minority communities. I currently combine my community engagement with academic research in my current role as a research screener at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Infectious Diseases Clinic (UNC ID clinic).
