Hello, my name is Rodman Lavalais and I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana. I am a 2021 graduate of Southern University and A&M College. Also, I'm a recently Full stack Software Engineer graduate from Operation Spark. Since I was young, I’ve always had a very enthusiastic personality, and have always been determined to achieve my goals. During my matriculation through college, in addition to my education, I was dedicated to a few small businesses I created, which taught me a lot about understanding how to connect with desired consumers. I was able to put together a very successful community service event centered around helping the homeless and less fortunate. I look forward to more acts of service in the future as I work to help make the world a better place.

A proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College (B.S. in Marketing) and Operation Spark’s immersive software engineering program, I bring a unique blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and people-first problem-solving to everything I do. From launching small businesses to organizing impactful community service events, I’ve cultivated a strong understanding of user needs and meaningful engagement. Now, at 26, I’m highly motivated to break into the software engineering industry and am actively pursuing internship and entry-level roles where I can contribute, collaborate, and continue sharpening my skills.
