About   (request update)
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science at North Carolina A&T State University, with hands-on experience in machine learning, embedded systems, and software development. As a Graduate Research Assistant, I worked on optimizing machine learning algorithms for IoT devices, achieving over 80% model compression through techniques like model pruning and quantization. I’ve also interned at John Deere, where I enhanced API security.
Current Whereabouts:
Right now, I’m really focused on advancing my skills in machine learning and embedded systems. I’m diving deep into optimizing algorithms for constrained environments like IoT devices, and I’m always exploring new ways to integrate AI with hardware. I also enjoy taking on coding challenges and exploring the latest advancements in data science and AI.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My goal is to contribute to the development of smart, efficient technologies that solve real-world problems, especially in the fields of software development, AI, embedded systems, and robotics. I aspire to work in a role where I can combine my passion for machine learning with creating innovative solutions that have a positive impact on society. Long term, I’d like to lead teams working on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology.

I have 2 years of experience working in the Research & Development industry.
Graduate Teaching Assistant | North Carolina A&T State University
From August 2024 to Current • 2 year(s)
● Assisted in designing and grading assignments, projects, and exams for undergraduate students in Game Design. ● Provided one-on-one and group tutoring to help students understand complex game development concepts and techniques. ● Facilitated lab sessions, guiding students through practical exercises using game development tools and programming languages. ● Offered constructive feedback on student projects, emphasizing best practices in game mechanics, design, and optimization. ● Collaborated with the professor to create lesson plans and support course management. ● Managed student queries and discussions during office hours, helping them troubleshoot coding issues and improve their projects.
Graduate Research Assistant | North Carolina A&T State University | Collins Aerospace
From January 2024 to Current • 2 year(s)
●Collaborated with a team of 8 from Collins Aerospace on a research project “Machine Learning for Interiors” on On-device/Tiny Machine Learning (Convolutional/Deep Neural networks) apps development for IoT devices. ●On-device computation through effective memory management to enhance performance on a microcontroller. ●Employed efficient machine learning techniques such as selective quantization (int8), model pruning and knowledge distillation to achieve above 80% model compression, enhancing algorithmic performance. ●Engaged in exploring the integration of NAS (Neural Architecture Search), Transfer Learning methods to automate the TinyML model development pipeline by considering hardware constraints as hyperparameters. ●Integrated object detection/image classification algorithms like MobileNetV2 SSD, TinyYOLO and deployed on SoC nrf5340, BCM2710A1, and RP2040 by developing firmware/drivers that aid TinyML. ●Tech Stack: Python, C/C++, Linux (Ubuntu), TensorFlow Lite Micro, TVM, Zephyr RTOS, arm-gcc compiler.
Software Intern | John Deere
From May 2022 to July 2022 • 0 year(s)
●Worked on API security for a web application, enhancing security by implementing authorization for all APIs. ●Developed a mechanism ensuring APIs only process requests containing an access token. ●Configured API Gateway in AWS and used Node.js to implement the logic. ●Integrated Okta for access token verification, adding a layer of authentication and authorization. ●Implemented an email notification system to alert appropriate executives of database changes. ●Utilized NodeMailer in Node.js to send notifications triggered by changes in an S3 bucket. ●Tech Stack: Node.js, AWS services (Lambda and API Gateway), Okta.
