Working at the Afro-American Cultural Center in communications to promote cross-cultural events, foster the Black community across undergraduate and graduate students, and create spaces for reflection and healing in the Black community (e.g. (Re)Defining Blackness events series 2020 & 2022). Because of my efforts toward community building, I was awarded the Caroline Jackson Smith Leadership Award from Yale University in May 2022.
Most Memorable Moment:
Going on tour in Capetown/Johannesburg SA, Los Angeles CA, Philadelphia PA, Boston MA, and other places with my a cappella group, Shades of Yale!
