My name is Ava McCauley and I am a signee to North Carolina A&T State to play softball! I graduate this year and I’m more than excited to get on campus and learn what AYANTEE is all about. I’ve been playing softball since I was 3 years old and overall my favorite experience was playing in the Mintority Softball Prospects All American Game. I got to play with all women of color and meet amazing role models. I’ve been named all conference, all region, and all state. Although I’ve never had a “real” job, I’ve consumed my time with giving back to the game and giving young girls softball lessons. It has humbled me and always teaches me that sometimes you have to start back at square one. Aside from softball, I love creative writing, hanging out with my friends, and taking care of my family❤️

I hope to be a well known sports agent and work with major/pro league sports teams. I also hope to inspire athletes and give them all the tools they need to maximize success.
