Electronic Warfare Engineer, SRC, Inc.

Location: Beavercreek, OH United States

About   (request update)
I have a wealth of engineering experience and am truly passionate about engineering and helping others.

Currently I work as a Electronic Warfare Engineer for SRC, Inc. I have to analyze and create functional radar models for various radar systems. Before that I have worked as a civilian Electronics Engineer at Wright-Patterson AFB and helped to preform project management. Before that I had two wonderful internships at Intel Corporation where I developed a working knowledge of IC design and also designed a memory debug adapter PCB with a team of other engineers.
Current Whereabouts:
I'm into helping others and volunteering. I like to tutor younger children and help them curate an interest in STEM. I also like reading, practicing martial arts, and hanging out with my friends.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
There are a lot of things that I want to do in this life. I am passionate about digital circuits and technology and want to find a position which works with that. Also one day I would love to see if I can earn my masters and PhD because I strongly believe that I have a gift for teaching and being able to explain highly complicated & technical ideas into a manner which is clear and simple to understand.
Education   (request update)
Tuskegee University class of 2021
Undergrad Major: Electrical Engineering
Claim To Fame:
I started a student engineering team for a competition called the Collegiate Wind Competition. Colleges all around the country would form teams of engineering students to design full functioning 2 feet tall wind turbines. I started and led my team at TU.
Most Memorable Moment:
The most memorable moments I have from TU was studying with my friends in Luther Foster Hall late into the evening and into the wee hours of the morning. It was hard but it was full of good times. Also TU Homecoming was always a blast.
Experience
I currently work with SRC, Inc. as Electronic Warfare Engineer
I have 6 years of experience working in the Engineering industry.
Electronic Warfare Engineer | SRC, Inc.
From September 2023 to January 2025 • 2 year(s)
● Designed, updated, and maintained radar models for the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB). ● Read and analyzed classified documentation from National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), United States Air Force (USAF) and other agencies to create functional radar models. ● Conducted electronic warfare intel, research, and engineering analysis to assess the technical performance and capabilities of foreign radar systems. ● Performed Quality Control procedures on radar models from various intelligence agencies. ● Applied analytic and systematic approaches to characterize the performance of electronic systems, such as ground, naval, and airborne radar systems, electronic attack (EA) systems, radar warning receivers (RWR) and missile systems. ● Programmed radar model user operation modes in Strike Force software using Jython programming language.
Electronics Engineer | United States Air Force - AFLCMC
From September 2021 to April 2023 • 2 year(s)
● Used computer programming software, Pycharm, to develop, debug, and test Python code on a legacy ADS-B receiver engineering project. Developed and proposed several new design choices into this system to improve the effectiveness of its functionality. ● Worked with a Senior engineer to actively track aircraft in the local airspace using this device in real time. ● Consistently attended and actively contributed to engineering meetings with USAF AFLCMC clients to oversee the continual production and progress of mission planning avionics hardware for the C-130J aircraft. ● Completed rudimentary C-130J oversight training to gain a working understanding of the USAF airworthiness certification process. ● Attended work related TDYs to a government contractor site to participate in a Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), for mission planning Secure Data Transfer Device (S-DTD) hardware gave a briefing on said information to the entire EZA engineering department. ● Attended a USAF engineering conference titled, the Mission Planning Systems Interface Control Working Group Conference, to deepen and expand my knowledge on current USAF mission planning technology and practices. ● Completed coursework through Defense Acquisition University (DAU) to earn a Foundational Certification. ● Helped to plan a base wide picnic event for all new USAF early-career professionals and was appointed as the Secretary of Communications for this undertaking and coordinated teams to help find a venue, food vendors, entertainment, and other activities for the event. ● Facilitated the administration and moderation of USAF engineering course Intro to Avionics twice
Digital Design Engineering Intern | Intel Corporation
From May 2020 to July 2020 • 0 year(s)
● Completed training to understand how to perform Logic Synthesis in Design Compiler ● Worked with a Senior Engineer to facilitate the steps to perform Logic Synthesis. ● Worked in a UNIX environment to perform Synthesis on an LDPC decoder. ● Worked with a Senior Engineer to observe and see how a floor plan for an IC is created.
Design Engineering Intern | Intel Corporation
From May 2019 to August 2019 • 0 year(s)
● Successfully executed the design of a circuit from technical concept to fully completed tangible product. ● Designed an interposer PCB which interfaced with a logic analyzer to perform validations tests. ● Design technical schematic diagrams using Cadence Design Entry HDL software. ● Develop detailed models of physical circuit layouts using Cadence Allegro Layout Editor software. ● Wrote Engineering Schematic Design (ESD) documents for Intel’s newly designed PCBs. ● Perform design validations testing on Intel manufactured products in hardware labs to ensure no defects are present
