Iverson Bell Jr., M.D. is a psychiatrist and educator. His experiences include being a training director for psychiatry programs at two medical schools. In addition, he also taught a Master Class in Psychiatry and a consultation-liaison telepsychiatry teaching project in Ethiopia.

Dr. Bell has specialized in telepsychiatry and distance education, using digital technology in psychiatry. He set up a statewide telepsychiatry counseling program in the U.S. and developed a consultation-liaison telepsychiatry teaching project in Ethiopia.

Dr. Bell completed his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College and received his medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is married and lives in Atlanta, Ga.
