Right now, I’m really into music, dancing, and traveling. I love exploring the world and learning about different cultures, whether that’s through studying abroad or just trying new foods. I’ve also been enjoying playing around with fashion and using it as another way to express myself. Anything creative, expressive, or adventurous—I’m all in.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame in college has definitely been the Terpsichorean Dance Company at Hampton University. It’s the oldest student-led organization on campus, and we perform at major events like the Homecoming parade, pageants, and Martin Luther King Day celebrations. Being part of this team gave me a chance to return to something I’ve loved since I was a child - dancing, but it also gave me something I didn’t expect: a community, a sisterhood, and a sense of being truly seen on campus. It’s more than just performing. We move as a unit, support one another like family, and stay engaged with campus through events like the Alpha Phi Alpha Breast Cancer Awareness Powder Puff Game and "Train Like an Alpha." Dancing gave me something I could be proud to rep, and I didn’t realize how much that would mean to others too. Friends started showing up to my shows with posters and flowers. I even raised over $100 in our “Pie a Terp” fundraiser—without planning to participate—I was just working the table, but everyone wanted to support me. I never would’ve guessed that stepping back into something I loved would open the door to being appreciated and celebrated in such a genuine way. Terpsichorean helped me find not just my rhythm again, but a deeper connection to my campus and the people who make it feel like home.
