Current Whereabouts:

Right now, I’m really into building both my future and my peace. I’ve been deeply focused on preparing for college and applying for scholarships, all while dreaming bigger than I ever have before. I’m currently exploring the world of construction management, sustainability, and affordable housing. I love learning how buildings come to life and how something as physical as construction can create emotional impact, especially for families like mine who have experienced housing instability. Outside of academics and career goals, I’ve been pouring into the things that make me feel grounded. I love painting, especially when I can just let my mind rest and express myself with color and texture. I’ve also been really into cooking, it feels like a form of therapy to me. Making a good meal, especially for the people I love, is one of my favorite ways to show care. Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of neo soul and R&B. There’s something about the softness and honesty in that music that feels comforting while I’m navigating such a big transition in my life. I’m also learning to give myself more grace, to find balance between being driven and being gentle with myself. I’m into becoming the best version of me, in every sense, personally, creatively, and professionally.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

My life and professional aspirations are deeply connected to where I come from, what I have overcome, and the future I am determined to build. I was raised in a single parent household by a mother whose strength taught me what resilience looks like. She is a survivor of domestic violence, and through every hardship, financial struggle, instability, and uncertainty, she still managed to hold our family together. Her strength became my foundation. It is what motivates me to not just dream, but to act. I aspire to become a leader in the construction industry, specializing in construction management and sustainable development. My goal is to create affordable, environmentally conscious housing for families who are often left out of the conversation, single mothers, low-income families, and survivors of trauma. I want to build more than structures. I want to build stability, safety, and opportunity. My dream is to launch a company that uplifts both the people it serves and the people it employs, offering job training and mentorship to young women and individuals from underserved communities. Beyond my career, I want to continue being a servant leader. Whether through volunteering, public speaking, or mentoring, I will always use my voice to advocate for others. I believe success means nothing unless it creates a ripple effect. My purpose is clear, to rise and bring others with me. And with education, faith, and unwavering drive, I know I will.
