Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college is becoming the parliamentarian for my student organization, the Student Society of Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies at Southern University. In this role, I help ensure our meetings run smoothly, maintain organization bylaws, and contribute to the effective governance of our society. This experience allows me to develop strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was the Jackson State Vs Southern University Homecoming game. It was the first homecoming football game I attended, where I went to all the events icluding the parade, tailgate, and game. It was at this time I was fully engulfed into college culture and the school spirit of Southern Universirty. I had such a great time and was shown a sense of family from complete strangers. I was giving plates of food, water, even a fan to help with the southern heat. It was at this time I fully appreciate my school and was beyond happy that I would be getting my diploma from such an amazing instituion.
