I’m a forensic science major with hands-on lab experience and a growing background in criminal investigation and evidence analysis. I was recently offered an internship at a coroner’s office, which will give me direct exposure to real forensic casework. My academic journey has included research on the Brandon Mayfield fingerprint misidentification case, and I’m currently studying how the menstrual cycle affects injury risk in female athletes.

I’m passionate about combining science with justice and plan to pursue a career as a forensic DNA analyst. I’ve taken advantage of opportunities like applying for the McNair Scholars program to help prepare for graduate study and long-term success in the field.
