Hello! My name is Mauri! I’m a licensed cosmetologist waiting to graduate. Throughout my 4 year experience in high school, I’ve always been dedicated to making money in some type of way. My high school gave me the opportunity to work hard for my cosmetology license throughout these 4 years that felt so long, but look at me now licensed while still in high school.

Current Whereabouts:

I’m currently into making more money! I’m already a licensed cosmetologist at a very young age and I also work at Walmart, but I would like more.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Continue to make others feel good abt themselves, I aspire to do real estate, I’m going to school to look into being an ultrasound tech, and anything else that comes my way that is making me money I would love as well!

Like I mentioned earlier on how I wanted a more mature job, Walmart definitely showed me that. After I turned 18, I immediately looked into Walmart and it didn’t take me long to get in there either. Im currently still working at Walmart and I honestly love working there.

To start, my first job was servicing others whether it was nails or hair, and that started around COVID. I don’t have anything and I looked into a whole bunch of things. Doing hair and nails is what caught my interest. After Covid started to die down, luckily my school offered a cosmetology course. I looked into the course immediately and I never looked back since. Since then, I’ve had to work very hard so that I could obtain my license. March 12, 2025, I became a licensed cosmetologist.

Around the age of 16, I started working at Sonic. At Sonic I could move around very freely and it was a fun job to work at. I stayed loyal until I turned 18 and I realized I wanted a more mature job.
