About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
Lately, I’ve been really into exploring the field of speech-language pathology — especially early intervention techniques and how culturally responsive therapy can make a difference. I’m also diving into tech-based tools for speech therapy and how they can support children and families. Outside of academics, I’ve been enjoying participating in service work and events focused on community impact, and I’m always down for a creative outlet, whether it's through music, dance, or storytelling.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Within the details of my career aspirations, I am interested in the development of research behind psychological disorders, behavioral analytics, Forensic Psychology, and how behavior disorders attack society specifically within prisons. Prison reform is a more specific side path that I am interested in pursuing within my career and I am excited to start with future internships/opportunities. I find myself hungry and determine to take in all opportunities in this new stage of my life. During my time at Howard University, I look forward to gaining hands-on experience by taking part in research, internships, conferences, and more.

The research focused on the carryover in speech therapy. During our research we worked on a solution to support children with speech delays. Our primary goal is to improve “carryover,” ensuring that skills practiced within a structured setting transfer into everyday communication. We’re also exploring ways to engage families more actively in the child’s progress and to address potential gaps in diversity and accessibility across existing speech therapy resources.
