About   (request update)
Recent Hampton University Psychology graduate (May 2025) with a research-intensive background, recognized for pioneering studies and community-rooted mental health work. Adept in data interpretation, culturally competent communication, and innovative project design. Passionate about decolonial thought, Black wellness, and youth development. A consistent academic achiever with strong experience across clinical, academic, and community-based settings.
Current Whereabouts:
Currently, I’m focused on psychological research with an emphasis on culturally responsive approaches to mental health, particularly within Black communities. I’m also exploring how narrative and community-based methods can support healing and advocacy.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I aspire to earn a Ph.D. in either Experimental Psychology or Industrial-Organizational Psychology. With an I/O focus, my goal is to strengthen and sustain Black-owned businesses by promoting mentally healthy, effective workplace practices. If I pursue Experimental Psychology, I aim to advance research that supports the growth of the Black community, especially in areas that are under-researched and underdeveloped. Ultimately, my career is rooted in giving back—using my education to empower and uplift my community.
