I’ve gained experience as a freelance graphic designer by working with nonprofits and small organizations on projects like logos, social media graphics, and video content. As a Media and Communications Intern for the Institute of the Black World, I created digital content to support education and advocacy efforts. I also designed for groups like the Trees & People Coalition and the Pan African Unity Dialogue Table. Currently, I manage social media for the Community Day Center for Children. These roles have helped me improve my design skills, stay organized, and communicate clearly across different platforms.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I’m an incoming freshman at Spelman College with a strong interest in science, community impact, and creative expression. I plan to major in biology and pursue a career in pediatric neurosurgery, with a focus on improving outcomes for Black children with brain tumors. I’m passionate about health equity and hope to combine medical research with advocacy to make care more accessible and inclusive. Alongside my academic goals, I’ve developed skills in graphic design through freelance work and internships, which has taught me how to use creativity as a tool for communication and change.
