Being surrounded by so many people who looked like me yet had completely different stories was something powerful. We all shared similar goals and experiences, but we each brought something unique to the table, whether it was our hometowns, our personalities, or our dreams. Walking through campus, you could feel the unity and diversity at the same time. That balance of being alike but different made our college experience feel like one big family with countless voices and backgrounds woven into it.
Most Memorable Moment:
Fried Chicken Wednesdays were a tradition like no other. The entire campus came alive in the Cafe: students, faculty, athletes, Greeks, everyone. The smell of fried chicken filled the room, music was playing, people were line dancing and strolling, and for those few hours, nothing else mattered but the vibe. It was more than just a meal, it was a weekly reunion, a celebration of culture, laughter, and community that I’ll never forget.
