I have over four years of experience as an assistant teacher and supervisor in a daycare setting, where I supported children’s growth and safety. Recently, I began substitute teaching, expanding my hands-on experience in diverse classroom environments. Currently, I am an Apprentice with the Center for Black Educator Development’s Freedom School Literacy Academy (FSLA) program, where I assist in literacy education and youth mentorship. Passionate about education and mental health advocacy, I am committed to fostering supportive, inclusive spaces for all students to thrive.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame in college is being both a fierce mental health advocate and a campus cheerleader. Whether I’m uplifting students through tough conversations about anxiety, trauma, and healing or hyping up the crowd on the sidelines. I’ve become known for bringing positive energy wherever I go. As someone who has personally navigated the challenges of mental health and identity, I use my story to inspire and support others, especially in spaces where those conversations are often silenced.

Most Memorable Moment:

Some of my most memorable college moments include being named a FEFE (distinguished cheerleader) on our team. Being awarded 2024–2025 All-CIAA Cheerleader was another highlight, celebrating not only my talent and dedication to cheer ,but also my hard work in the classroom and my commitment to uplifting others. It was an honor to be recognized as a leader both on and off the field. Becoming a Spring initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was a deeply meaningful milestone, connecting me to a powerful legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
