Claim To Fame:
At Oakwood, I didn’t just earn a degree; I began a lifelong journey of faith. I came searching for something deeper, and what I found was a relationship with God that transformed me from the inside out. In October 2023, I was baptized, a moment that marked not just a spiritual milestone but a new beginning. I built friendships rooted in Christ, learned the beauty of the Seventh-day Adventist faith, and discovered what it means to live with purpose, grace, and conviction. Oakwood wasn’t just a school, it was the soil where my faith took root and began to flourish.
Most Memorable Moment:
Some of my most unforgettable moments at Oakwood were about becoming. I’ll never forget the day I got baptized in October 2023. It was more than a ceremony; it was a declaration of who I was becoming in Christ. That moment, being surrounded by friends who had become sisters in faith, felt like stepping into the life God had been preparing me for. I also treasure the nights spent laughing and hanging out with friends—those late-night talks, sharing jokes, and shared meals that turned classmates into family. There was something special about knowing we were growing together, spiritually and emotionally, even in the quiet moments. Oakwood gave me more than an education; it gave me a deeper relationship with God, lifelong friendships, and memories I’ll carry with me forever.
