Although I’m not currently working, my past roles have helped shape my work ethic and personal growth. As a teacher at Ivy Kids Early Learning Center, I worked with children of all ages, building patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills. I also gained customer service and administrative experience at Walmart and Langston University, where I developed organizational skills, professionalism, and confidence. These roles prepared me to manage responsibility and stay focused on my long-term goals while pursuing my education.

Current Whereabouts:

Right now, I’m focused on school and figuring out who I am and what I want for myself. I’m into psychology because I really want to understand people and help them through whatever they’re going through. Outside of that, I’ve been more into self-growth learning how to move with purpose, protect my peace, and become more consistent. I spend time with family, go to church, and help guide younger girls in our group. I’m not perfect, but I’m in a season of becoming better.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

My life and professional aspirations are guided by a deep sense of purpose and faith. I believe that every step I take is part of a larger plan, and through prayer, I seek clarity and strength to fulfill that purpose. Personally, I aspire to live a life of growth, kindness, and resilience, always striving to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I seek to balance personal well-being with the pursuit of my goals, trusting that each experience, whether challenging or rewarding, is an opportunity for growth. Professionally, I am driven by the desire to use my skills and passion in a meaningful way. I hope to pursue a career where I can contribute to my community, lead with integrity, and inspire others. Through prayer, I find the strength to face obstacles and remain focused on my goals, always remembering that my work is not only for personal success but also to serve a greater purpose. I trust that with faith and determination, I will continue to grow in both my personal and professional journey, fulfilling the path that has been set before me.

Most Memorable Moment:

One of my most memorable college moments was my first homecoming. The energy, unity, and culture I experienced that week made me feel truly connected to something bigger than myself. Seeing alumni come back, hearing their stories, and celebrating with my classmates reminded me of the legacy I’m now a part of. It was more than just a fun event for me it was a reminder of the pride and history that runs through HBCUs.
