About   (request update)
I’m a proud graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C. I served as a lifeguard for the Department of Parks and Recreation, and I had the opportunity to intern with the Federal Housing Finance Agency, gaining experience in federal operations. I’m also the president of a nonprofit mentoring organization where I work closely with young kids, helping guide them both academically and personally. In addition, I’m a member of 100 Black Men, committed to leadership and service. I’ve worked with DC XQ to help reshape and improve D.C. public high schools, which included traveling across the country to places like California to learn and bring ideas back home. I currently attend North Carolina A&T, where I’m a second-year kinesiology major. I’ve maintained a 3.4 GPA.

As a certified lifeguard for the Department of Parks and Recreation in Washington, D.C., I was responsible for ensuring the safety of all swimmers and visitors at the facility. My role included monitoring pool activity to prevent accidents, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies with CPR, first aid, and water rescue techniques when needed. I conducted regular safety checks, maintained cleanliness around the pool area, and worked closely with other staff members to create a safe and welcoming environment.
