Originally from Compton, California, she grew up dancing with the Divas of Compton from the age of 9, where her passion for performance and discipline began. She also served as a youth leader at 1 Shine Youth Center, where she developed strong leadership and mentoring skills.In high school, Kiara took on leadership roles as Captain and President of several organizations, including the Black Student Union (BSU). My “Claim to Fame” in college will be being a connector and a leader—someone who brought people together, uplifted others, and made a lasting impact through passion, purpose, and positivity. I want to be remembered as the student who inspired others to be their best selves and never stopped striving for excellence.

Most Memorable Moment:

One of my most memorable college moments was making the dance line and having the opportunity to perform with our marching band at every football game. The energy, the crowd, and the pride of representing my school on the field created unforgettable memories. It was more than just dancing—it was about unity, school spirit, and being part of something bigger than myself.
