Taylor Sims is a Biochemistry major at Xavier University of Louisiana with a bold vision for the future of healthcare and beauty. A five time GDYT intern and three year Heritage Works administrator, she brings a mix of discipline, creativity, and cultural grounding to every space she enters. Taylor plans to attend medical school to become a dermatologist, not just to treat skin, but to uplift her community and inspire confidence, boldness, and poise one skin cell at a time. Her journey is fueled by purpose and rooted in representation. Whether in the lab, the office, or the heart of the city, she leads with excellence and authenticity. Taylor is not just chasing a dream but most importantly, she’s building a legacy.

I've worked diligently with Heritage Works for 3 years now. I was labeled the administrator of the non-profit after completing my first year as an intern. I have trained and supervised over 100 interns, directed festivals, and held/lead meetings out of the country.
