I am a dedicated student with strong experience in customer service and safety. I currently work at Home Depot (2025–present) and previously worked at Chick-fil-A (2022–2023), Journeys (2020–2021), and as a lifeguard at Sandcastle for 4 summers. I'm CPR and AED certified, and skilled in communication, teamwork, and working in fast-paced environments. My diverse roles have helped me become dependable, adaptable, and service-focused.

At Norfolk State University, I’ve become known as someone who not only works hard academically, but also uplifts others along the way. Whether i'm participating in campus activities or attending study events I take pride in being in my HBCU. People know me as someone who never gives up, gives 100%, and leads with heart. I’ve built a reputation for being dependable, motivated, and driven by purpose. Many know they count on me through hardship, because I am not only a problem solver but a dependable person. I’m not just here to get a degree, I’m here to leave an impact, represent my HBCU with pride, and make every moment at NSU count.
Most Memorable Moment:
Doing Shimmy Like A Nupe, Watching the SGA debates, Doing The Stroll Off, Attending my first Homecoming, Study Groups at Night for Big Projects, Soul Food Thursdays. Changing my major despite being scared and knowing it was for the best. Balancing work / life balance.

I currently work as an Appliance associate at Home Depot. In this role, I’ve developed skills in communication, customer assistance, and multitasking in a high-volume retail setting. I am responsible for helping customers locate items, answering product questions, managing stock, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. This position has strengthened my problem-solving abilities and taught me how to remain patient and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

One of my longest-running and most impactful roles was working as a lifeguard at Sandcastle Waterpark for four consecutive summers. From 2020 to 2023, I served as a trusted team member responsible for maintaining swimmer safety, enforcing pool rules, and responding to emergencies when needed. I earned and maintained CPR and AED certifications, which reflect my commitment to public safety and preparedness. This position developed my leadership, focus, and decision-making skills in high-stakes situations.
